in a recent construction i visited they had it wired as i asked about earlier (2 3-ways for the light kit, and 2 3-ways for the fan)with only 3 wires and a ground at the ceiling box, the connections were then made when the fan was installed red to blue, black to black, white to white and ground to ground. still unsureand the diagrams onl show how to wire for one fixture or two fixtures controlled by the same 3-way switches.
