Zinsco has a bad reputation among pro electricians. And yes, replacement would includ the breaker box and all the guts within. If otherwise satisfactory, the wiring would not necessarily have to be replaced. However, keep in mind that modern electrical requiremets are substantially greater than they were 50 or so years ago. Think microwave, toaster ovens, freezer, TVs in every room, a computer for the parents and each kid, dv hair dryers in each bath, etc. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
