Remove smoke smell from fire place

I am having the same problem that Debbie had in 2003. I was bunring a Pine Mountain fire log and a back draft forced the smoke back down into the fireplace and into my apartment(which filled up with smoke.) We put the fire out. But the smell of smoke is still in our house after 4 days. We tried all of the things that Debbie did; candles,open windows, air refreshners, Fabriz and we can't seem to get the smoke smell out.
