What may be fair in your locale, might be high in mine and vise versa.
I would attempt to get three bids from your area and then compare them to each other then make your decision. Make sure that each contractor is bidding on the same exact thing.
This way you can also look at character, personalities, and experience. Its always nice to meet the actual person doing the work and there not be any surprises.
