Bathroom baseboard radiators

Posted by Darlene's bathroom on March 2nd, 2005 01:50 PM

The three bathrooms in my home have baseboard radiators that are about six to eight inches away from the toilets. I also have young sons whose "aim" in the bathroom tends to run toward the radiator and not the toilet. As a result, the part of the radiator in "direct line" is rusted and has a distinct odor. Eventually we will replace the radiator, but would like to find some type of covering that can take the "hits" and simply be wiped down. I've thought of a molded piece of plexiglass that could be attached to the wall directly above the radiator, and then bow over the radiator, but I don't know if plexiglass can be molded and if it's ok to use over a radiator. Suggestions? No wise comments on "teaching better aim" :) Thank you.
