I have had my rainbow vacuum cleaner for close to 20 years, and have NEVER had to have any work done on it. I raised three kids and always had a dog. Used the cleaner frequently, and still do. Although I do agree, it is a little inconvenient, due to emptying it after each use, I love it, and would not buy any other cleaner.
