I would like to paint my cabinets white. Currently my 25 year old cabinets are a very nice wood, that is dark stain and probably a varnish. I want to paint them white, but do not want that thick painted look that many peoples cabinets have after they paint them. What do I need to do to my cabinets to prepare to paint them, and what would be the best paint to use in a kitchen, what type of paint brushes or tools will I need to complete this project.
