Sounds like the strongest and most thought-out porch swing installation I have ever heard of. Nothing to worry about. Most are installed with screw-in eye bolts to ceiling joists without any reinforcement. Blocking prevents the joist from twisting and would probably be enough, but your plan sounds better.
