Brad or finish nailers

For the tasks you list, the finishing nailer is the one you need. I have and use both. The brad nailer is great for small assembies - small boxes, fine woodwork, holding trimwork on small furniture till the glue dries, tacking the backs on cabinets, etc. However, for usual trimwork in house construction, you must get a 15 or 16 ga. finishing nailer.
