* The thing that you put your hand on to turn on the water is the "Handle"
* The handle is mounted onto the "Stem" by a screw.
* The "Stem" goes through the "Nut" into the faucet housing.
* Unscrew this nut "Counter Clockwise". Litely tap the "Nut" and use a large Crecent or Pipe wrench to turn it.
* once loose turn the "Handle" "counter clockwise" until the whole assembly comes out.
* Take this whole assembly to hoe Depot and have them fit a new washer onto the end of the assembly.
