Electrical Problem

Posted by Merc13 on May 3rd, 2005 12:05 PM

I have a pond outside with a water pump for a waterfall and fountain. The pump is hardwired thru a GFCI outlet into a timer. The timer kicks on twice a day to let the pump and my waterfall run. Lately, the GFCI outlet kicks off everytime the pump has been running for a few minutes. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Is it a problem with the connection at the pump or at the timer? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
