drain leak noise

Its almost a lock that the source of the sound is a leaking flapper valve in the toilet. A small amount of water continuously runs into the toilet and you will hear this in drains. To test, turn the water supply off to the toilet(s). After a few hours check the tank reservoir to see if the level has dropped. to fix, just clean the valve opening in the bottom of the tank and replace the inexpensive flapper.
