Hi everyone - I'm new to the board so please be gentle :)
I am having problems with a Kenmore Sensaclean gas oven. We used it yesterday morning, and everything worked fine. After cooking breakfast I shut it off, and about 5 minutes later we heard kind of a pop/bang noise. It didn't sound quite like a gas pop - no lines came off and I can't smell gas. And it did have a metallic ring to it. Now, I have no electric power coming in. Everything else on that circuit breaker is fine. But the oven light doesn't come on when the door is open, and the control panel does not light up either. When I unplug it, and plug it back in I can hear a switch on the back of the unit activate, but that's it. So any ideas whether the switch is bad, or is the switch supposed to activate like that and a fuse or something else is wrong? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
