I have a Hampton Bay fan with lights in the master bedroom. The wall switch powers the combo fan/lights. The remote will turn on/off and change the speed of the fan as well as reverse direction. It will not dim or turn off the lights. The handheld remote's dip switches are set 2,3 & 4 to ON. 1 is off.

Any help on being able to set the thing to turn off or greatly reduce the lights as well?
