** we heard kind of a pop/bang noise... Now, I have no electric power coming in **

** any ideas whether the switch is bad, or is the switch supposed to activate like that and a fuse or something else is wrong? **

Not without actually looking into the electrical system of the appliance. There is no component in a gas oven/range which would usually cause such a condition besides a component failure and since it appears only electrical things are not operating, a problem in one of the electrical components in it is likely. (There aren't usually that many in a gas appliance)

Is this just a built-in "oven" or are you only having problem with the oven part of a gas "range" (which has both surface burners as well as an oven)?

The fancy marketing names printed on the front of an appliance is rarely enough to identify the exact appliance you have. What is needed is the complete *model number* as written on the appliance's model and serial number tag (not printed on the owner's manual, bill of sale or other paperwork which might have come with the appliance).

You can find tips for locating that model and serial number identification tag on your appliances in the 'Repair Parts' section of my web site lined below.
