I asked a professional painter to do my dining room in the leather look paint. He had never done this before but he was very confident. He had no problem using the paint nor the recommended tools. He painted the red base coat in a couple of hours; waited overnight and came back the next day and applied the glaze. The result was absolutely gorgeous! He, too, was impressed with the relatively simple (but time consuming) technique.
I always say, sometimes it's better to leave things to the professionals.
