Press and hold Code Search until it stays on
Press one of the 4 device buttons
(TV, VCR, DVD, or Sat/Cbl) the light should blink off then come back on
Perss and release the Channel Up or Down to cycle through the codes Up goes one way and down the other
You can also use the Play or Power buttons but you can only go one way with those
When the device responds press the Mute button to enter the code
How to find the code programmed
Press and hold Code Search untill the light stays on
Press the Device button you want/need to know and then Press the Code search button again
Press and release the number keys 0-9 when the light goes out the first time that is the first number start at 0 again to find the second and after you find the second number (light will go off and back on again same as before) start at 0 to look for the third adn last number when you find it the light will stay off
