Plastic stick in Hampton Bay Solar Tiered Path Landscape Accent Lighting

The earlier Hampton Bay Solar Tiered Path Landscape Accent Lighting models 79339 and 79319 were much better as they used to come with metal stick. They changed them to plastic, and want now to charge you $2 per stick to get the metal one. In addition, the packaging still says "Durable metal construction" or something like this instead of "breakable plastic and durable metal construction".
