I too have a ge wall self clean oven model JTP15 doing the same....

Funny thing is that my wife's cousin who lives a few hundred miles away has the same problem with a GE self clean wall oven.

After about 1.5-2.0 hours of self clean, all you can do is shut off the breaker and wait for it to cool down....
