We recently planted seed and watered constantly. In 2 weeks we had a 4" growth. We mowed and fertilized and watered more. Soon the grass yellowed and looked like straw and has died. What did we do wrong? Is this the wrong time of year to seed with fescue? The temp. has been in the 80's here in Memphis. Any suggestions?
