I had this problem suddenly show up on my single, 24" built-in oven I installed in '96. The clock continued to work, but nothing else, and it would reset itself once in a while (and stop beeping), but then go right back. I could reset the beep, but still, nothing worked but the clock.

I had to pull the fuse, then pull the oven almost all the way out, open the top panel (several screws) and re-seat the printed wiring cable from the display panel into the special connector on the back of the electronic board. You have to press inward on each side of the connector, then pull it part way away from the board. Pull out the printed wiring, wipe it (GENTLY) with a CLEAN plastic scrubber sponge, then re-insert it and press the connector shut again.

I put the fuse back and watched it for an hour with no problem, so I buttoned it all up and it has been just fine ever since.
