I had a trex deck installed a year ago. We did trex accents. It is a brown color. It now has mold on it. I called trex to find out what to do and they told me to clean it with Behr 62. We did that and got white specs through out the deck. It looks horrible. We are filling out a claim with trex but we do not know what they will do. Our builder told us that the rep told him that it has been a problem for a year. They have now fixed the problem but we have the old stuff installed. We did out deck in Feb 2004. They fixed the problem, I believe Jan 2005. I did not know what they are going to do with all the people that installed their decks during that time. I hope trex holds up to their warrenty!
