Many are unaware that attic temps do get that high without a thermostatically controlled fan to move the air through faster. It is one reason that so many homeowners complain on web sites that their second floor is so much warmer. A reason for that is that the existing air conditioning methods (aside from mine) do not account for the 130F attic temp and instead use the 95F outdoor temp. That doubles the ceiling load required for an air conditioner.

Install an attic air through-flow fan and the load goes away.
