I have a crawlspace that is not accessible from the inside but there are two vents through the foundation to the outside (it's on a corner). Also there must be some air passage to the rest of the basement since there is a heating duct that comes up through the floor as well. One of the vents to the outside happens to be right where I would like to put in a concrete step. Am I in for serious trouble if I cover one of these outside vents? Is there a standard for number of vents to the outside for a crawlspace?
