Hi Bink, you are right the wahing is made by a company called Fisher & Paykel, there headquarters is based in the city of Auckland on the North Island of New Zealand. They make a large range of white goods. They are very popular in New Zealand and here in Australia. I to have a Fisher and Paykel washing machine and Dryer. Regards Noelene
