Pressure tank / well headache

Posted by ptank33 on August 1st, 2005 11:21 AM

I had the electric panel / wires checked out. No trouble there. My home will be two years old this Oct. and only my 69 year old mother & I live there and I have had this problem with my water from day one. My pressure tank keeps tripping off at the pressure switch by the tank in the basement. The plumbers have put in a new tank, switches and even upped the pressure switch. The pump has been pulled to see when water hits and to check the pump. The well paper shows a picture with the well down to 210 and water at 120. If I try to wash a load of laundry the switch flips off when it starts filling up in the rise cycle. I can't take a shower and flush the toilet. After the tank cuts off I flip it back on but if I try to use it in lest then 3 hours it will cut off againwhen just washing your hands They dynamited the basement even when I said I disagreed with them doing it. They said it wouldn’t hurt it, but a rock close to the well cracked. I said something to the builder about it. So to get me off his back he got a friend of his that dose wells to check it. The driller set up over it and put the drill down it (I guess that’s what you call it) when he went to pull it up again he had it stuck, he did finally get it out. He said nothing is wrong. Could it be something blocking the flow or what could it be? I dont know what else to try.
