The house is a tad over 2800 sq feet and is circa 68' with a flat roof(read no insulation to amount to much) and quite a bit of glass sliders in Phoenix Az. The two are stationed at each end and cool each half of the house.We had them installed with new matching furnaces with the variable speed fans and run the fans in the always on position.Not sure what "fan speed settings" can be done? I used a dealer that is supposed to be "reputable" in the area and is listed as ok under the BBB so I have to "assume" they are charged right.My dealer now says he has the TXV's in hand and I agree they should have yanked them from new units rather than make me wait. My concern is..why did both fail for the same reason and what is the likelihood these Carrier units will ever perform right seeing how they have failed on 5 occasions in less than 4 weeks of operation?
