They are 15 SEER. They did the temp thing and some sort of pressure delta at this TXV and said it was way off the mark..originally they suspected contaimants from the cooler..something about flaking and hosing up the operation of the TXV but that proved wrong..I just find it strange that two brand new units both have TXV failures..too much of a coincidence to me..I will ask about the fans..but they are variable speed and run low on non cool cycle and high when the condenser kicks in and you can hear and feel the air flow so I don't suspect its a fan issue..it blows with twice the air of the old furnace system..they are supposed to come out friday with the new TXV's..I guess I will wait it out and see what happens next@ Tx
