i cant seem to find any answers on this... just questions. I have a 3" hairline crack in the floor of my fiberlgass shower tub. I called a tub repair company here in NC and was told that he could try to repair it for $125 (but can NOT guarantee it) or could drill holes and put some kind of foam underneath the tub bottom to make it stable. Thing is, the bottom seems rock hard, even around and under the crack. I am wondering if a fiberglass repair kit I do myself would do the trick, or should I try to call some other professionals and get a pro to do it (that will guarantee it). Surely, I do not have to buy a whole new tub or bottom to address this issue. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tommy
