I had Bath Fitter put a liner in my shower two years ago, and the worker they used was incompetent because I have had many problems. The latest is the water has seeped under the floor between the original shower floor and the liner bottom. Bath Fitters has verbally told me there is no danger of mold seeping up the liner between the walls, because the bottom is sealed all around.
Does anyone know if this is true, and should I insist Bath Fitter take the liner off the walls to check for mold? They told me this is unnecessary and I am "over-reacting."
The problem has been here for at least a week.
They are coming this Tuesday to take out the bottom (which means the water has been "trapped" for at least two weeks).
Thank you for your advice!
