it is fast and I found to be cheaper in energy cost. With propane systems the energy cost is higher in some areas. The repair cost on heat pumps units is higher than gas systems, unless the heat exchanger box on the gas system has developed a leak. The gas units cost more new than the average heat pump.
O.K. you guys, help me out. Which is really best, electric or gas heat? Somebody told me that they never felt warm with an eletric furnace. How do they really compare in cost when you are using propane and how much does a mid-level furnace cost? Is an electric furnace more expensive than a gas furnace?
