I'm wanting to put down ceramic tile in my living room but have to pull up old vinyl tiles first. The tiles come up esily in one piece but the old adhesive remains on the cement floor. Do I need to completely remove the old adhesive from the cement floor before laying the tile or can I put the mortar down on top of it. If so what is the best way of removing it?
