im having problems dealing with a new home building contractor who told home owners to use two 2 coats of satin paint instead of priming first!!! the builders father owns a hardware store and is purchasing the paint for the owners at his store paying 24.99 a gal. I ahve been painting since 1959 and have spent 22 years of that in the union,how do i convince the homeowner that this is not the correct procedure for painting new drywall?
