Well, you have a homeowners association with a board. You need to understand the bylaws and limitations of the HOA. You could run to be a member of the board, attend meetings to raise your concerns, etc. If the HOA is not upholding a fiduciary responsibility that affects the value and comfort of your home, you could sue em. It would take an attorney to tell you if that is a viable option.
Most of us that live in a community without iron gates, call the police instead of a HOA. When the police get tired of warning the same people repeatedly for disturbing the peace or creating a nuisance, they usually issue citations. Even though you live in a gated community, you probably have a police force that is much more effective and empowered than the HOA. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
