In reply to Behr Paint - Nightmare! by Carmen on June 2nd, 2004 03:34 PM [Go to top of thread]

I only use Behr Paint, and it does wonders for me. I don't know why you are getting poor results. Not prepairing the walls? Just keep this in mind. 1. Colour is up to the retailer, not the company, (Home Depot tints the paint, not Behr) 2. If you use Behr paint, use Behr primer, it works best with their paint. Same goes for any paint company, use their primer. 3. I dont care what anyone says, Behr paint spreads very well.. I wont say any more on that topic because that is how I feel.

Here is a test for all you sceptics. Paint a peice of glass, 1 with Behr and 1 with your favourite compatition. Now when dry, use a BLACK permenent marker and write your name on the paint on each of them. Look on the back (glass unpainted) and you wont see the black marker on the Behr paint, you can even hold it up to the light. It is quality paint, it wont let moisture into the paint, so no mold, mildew etc. Also, because everything stays on the surface, its 100% easier to clean.

Enough Said.
