I'm debating whether or not to buy a house without a basement. The house has a huge attic, a 2 car garage as well as a small rubbermaid shed for storage. I've been told that houses without basements cost more to heat, which is a big deal here in the state of wisconsin! Although, my realtor called to find out the average cost of energy and it is no more than I am currently paying myself. I've also heard that houses without basements may have humidity problems. I guess, my most major concern is will I have a problem reselling the house. I am a first time home buyer all on my own and I just want to make sure that I am not making a huge mistake if I purchase this home.
