shower diverter

When I turn on the diverter, water comes out of the showerhead as well as the faucet. I've been trying to remove the diverter faucet, but have failed. The stem is so corroded with rust, it won't budge. I've tried wd40 but no good. Please someone help me! Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
