I noticed that environmental professionals post on here, and I need sound advice.
Imagine a room thats 30' x 60' covered in 3% asbestos floor tile 12'' by 12''. Imagine a rip and run crew using chipping guns to obliterate the tiles while chipping them up. You could see the piles of tile debris all over the place. 7 big piles of the stuff.
Thats whats happened in a building I go to everyday. I''m not on that floor everyday but do drop in now and then - a few times a week.
The other day the laborers came by and simply shoveled it into wheel barrows and carried it out to a dumpster. Dust was blowing across the street and hitting the kids going into the grammar school.
At 3% content, is this very bad? Heavy to know, while everyone else seems to think only 9 x 9 inch tile is asbestos. What say you?
