The only way they can claim this is byt breaking a Kirby down into a canister unit. Its simple folks a canister vac cannot compete with an upright. An upright provides the shortest distance to the dirt, simple physics folks.
Sounds good, but just try this experiment:
1. Replace the floor head with the extention hose on the Kirby. 2.Turn on both the Kirby and a Filter Queen. 3.Place the end of the hose on the F.Q. directly to the Kirby and prepair for a great laugh.
The F.Q. will suck all the guts right out of the bag on the Kirby!
Sure takes the wind right out of their smelly sails (bag).
Oh, well, so much for their power and suction.
Next, take a Kirby and vacuum a section of carpet and many times as you wish, (assuming you can stand the smell of the filthy thing)
and then go over the same area once or twice with the F.Q. and you will see the amazing difference.
That's what the salesman did with our Kirby and I couldn't believe how much more dirt the F.Q. picked up.
