Hi, Cathy. This is somewhat like asking if you like red or yellow better. It is a matter of how you want the room to look. The T&G edge is certainly the more traditional and usually there is some molding on the boards beyond just the edges. They are about the same to install. Be sure that you have the first board on the wall plumb when you nail through the tongue. You may have to scribe the first board and trim the groove edge to accomplish this. You also want the boards to acclimate themselves to your room for a week or more before you start to install.
