Corian sinks are very durable, but they can be scratched or chipped. On the other hand, stainless steel sinks can be dented and scratched as well. Every sink material has its advantages and disadvantages. A prominent advantage of Corian sinks is that they are very sanitary, because there is no "dirt catcher" between the sink and the countertop.
