Leaking Faucet

To check the valve seat (if not already replaced), remove the valve stem and stick your finger in the valve where the washer seats. Run your finger nail around the surface. If you feel a rough area or groove, then the seat needs to be unscrewed with a valve seat wrench and replaced.
