I would like to know the easiest way to remove old wallpaper that has been painted over. I purchased a rehab house from the city 9yrs ago and the walls and ceilings in every room are cracking. It started cracking the 2nd year and getting worse every year after. You can see the seams of the painted over wall paper. The 2 bathrooms and the kitchen are the only rooms that aren't cracking due to they are new drywalls. 3 bedrooms, living room, dinning rooms, the banister to the stairs going upstairs and stairway walls leading to the basement are all cracking. What can I do?
