Looked again and realized you weren't asking about concrete. I think one of the issues of family handyman magazine this year had an article on it. Check the library. Maybe someone else can help. The ground and grade preparation are the same as concrete except that you get these plastic forms to hold the brick along the edges. Then lay the brick. Then cover with sand and sweep it in the cracks. Run over it with a compacter to get the sand in the cracks to lock the brick in tight.
