Do you want stucco or just want what they call knockdown texture?
Textured walls and stucco are very different.
You can rent a hopper at your local hardware store and premixed texture spray or use a light weight drywall compound you may have to thin it with water to get the right thickness. like a thick pancake batter. pour this into the hopper and spray it on the walls then wait untill it sets up just enough you can use a large flat trowel to knock it down. Once you get the look you want just let it dry completly. Then go back with a sponge sand block and knock down the ponits only to make it less rough then prime and paint. It is always a good idea to tape and paper or plastic off anything you don't want sprayed including the ceiling.
