I am trying to replace a 4 wire, 3 speed fan switch, the original is a Leviton, the replacement is a Fantex, it has 4 wires but the old switch does not have the connection points numbered as does the new one. I have changed the wires from one connection point to another numerous times but I can't seem to get it so that I have 3 speeds and off from the pull chain. The wires are not the same color on the new switch as the old one.Home Depot does not have the Leviton pull switch but said the Fantex will work just as well. Can you please tell me how to connect the wire for full use of my fan.
Thank You,
Hazel Kelley
