Thanks for your note! Unfortunately there is a ring/connecter, which connects the hose to the sprayer that does not let me do what you suggested. The hose runs thru this ring/connecter which screws to the sprayer. And I cannot remove this ring to pull the hose thru the adapter on the sink.
