We moved in to our house a few years ago and, although the previous owner had the exterior painted only three years ago, it is in dire need of a new paint job. The paint is peeling right off the wood! Upon closer inspection we realized that it is pressed wood. What would be the best product and techniques to use when repainting this type of exterior? Should we seriously consider vinyl siding?
(Some items to note: We live on the Canadian prairies which means very hot and dry summers and cold winters.)
