Great question. So often homeowners don't realize that they Roof Cleaning IS POSSIBLE.
Over 40% of roofs are replaced for cosmestic reasons, chiefly a belief that Black MOLD or Bacteria stains are actually the underside of the shingle after the granules are worn off.

Your roof can be cleaned!

Now to the question of what cleaning product.

Shingle manufacturers recommend bleach, but it will actually shorten the life of your shingles by causing premature craking, not mention its toxic to your plants.

The quickest acting product is "ROOF QSE" from www.cleanertoday.com
The product is contractor grade, simple and effective. Just spray onto a dry roof, wait 20 minutes, then either rinse with low pressure, or allow the rain to rainse naturally (great if water prices are high). Of course caution should be used with ROOF QSE it is meant for contractors.

The next best product is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, safe for plants, and pets. RoofOX is also manufactured by www.cleanertoday.com and is meant for homeowner use, this gentler formula is a great choice for a homeowner who would rather not use a contractor grade product.

Now is a great time to clean your roof. With pandemic worries floating about, a clean roof is another way we can be prepared.
