I just spent the weekend finishing some site built transom windows for above a sliding glass door room. I did everything but stand on head to get a good cut, scoring, table saw with various 80 tooth and backwards blades, heating / cooling before cutting. If you don't need an absolute very finished cut - just go ahead and use a jigsaw with a 24 tooth per inch blade. You won't be able to do better unless you use a laser cutter. The only exception would be very narrow cuts which are best done with a scoring knife.
